August 17,2019...An acquaintance had told us of the Georgia O'Keeffe exhibition at the Nevada Art Museum in Reno. We had not heard of the Museum, but since we had been to several of the O'Keeffe museums in New Mexico as well as her home in Abiqui and at Ghost Ranch, we felt it would be worth the two and a half hour drive.

It's early on an August Saturday morning,

and we have arrived at our destination for the day.

There has been anticipation of for this exhibition

for several weeks now.

Entering the exhibition

Yoseph Karsh portrait of Georgia O'Keeffe

and the cover of the 1968 Life magazine

was a nice welcome to the life and

works of one of the

most iconic woman

of the 20th century and displayed with contemplation

every step of the way. From late sculpture

to her image by Warhol.
